Welcome to Perfect Fit Custom Shutters. We are a family-owned business, located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. We manufacture both Interior and Exterior Shutters right here locally in Maryland. For more than thirty years we have been installing custom shutters for customers throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C.

In addition to our custom and affordable shutters, we are also a leading supplier of Blinds and Shades.

The staff of Perfect Fit is experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. From selecting the right type of shutter, to measuring, manufacturing and installation, they will assist you every step of the way. Perfect Fit’s approach to selling is to provide an education in shutters so that you can make an informed decision.

Your shutters will be manufactured and meticulously hand-assembled to your specifications in our factory by skilled craftsmen. Finally, our professional installers will deliver and install your shutters, giving your home a beautiful, upscale, and finished look!

Our showroom is the largest in the Washington Metro area for Custom Interior and Exterior Shutters. While we offer free in-home appointments, our showroom with its full-size displays, allows our customers to see the quality of our shutters up close. And we are also happy to show our competitors shutters. Our experienced staff can walk you through all the options so that you can make a more informed decision.

Our Shutters Factory

All our shutters are custom made in our workshop. While most of the work is done by hand, much of it is done using CNC machinery. This allows us to construct shutters with exacting tolerances so they open and close effortlessly. Each shutter is hand-sanded multiple times and hand sprayed with two coats of premium water-based finish.

Our Green Commitment

Perfect Fit has made a commitment to doing our part to offset Climate Change and be better stewards of our environment.

We converted all our paints from Lacquer and Oil to Low VOC Water-Based finishes.

We retrofitted all the lighting in our office, showroom and factory from standard fluorescent and metal halide to LED.

We installed 300 solar panels producing 90,000 watts of power.

We recycle all our Thermalite scrap material so it can be ground and reused to make new shutters.

Perfect Fit is a proud Sponsor of Operation Second Chance. OSC provides support to our wounded, injured and ill veterans.
