We were so happy with our shutters and custom window shade from Perfect Fit. Renee, Andrew and the whole team were fantastic to work with. I had never bought window treatments before, and Renee answered all of our questions and even went out of his way to make sure our shade was the perfect color. A great experience and will definitely return for any future window treatment needs.

Have ordered from them for two houses now, and will continue to do so. Small-owned business. Everything fabricated locally in Gaithersburg, Md. Way better wood, craftsmanship, and painting than the chain competitor. Highly recommend!

My wife has been pressing me over the last 20 years ago to get her plantation shutters. I thought I might make them and fortunately realized that my making them would take me a very long time. I contacted Perfect Fit and they were happy to work with me in making the shutters and I performed the installation. The price was right and the quality of the shutters are great. Many years ago my parents bought custom shutters and the installers went above and beyond to work with my mother (and father who had become seriously ill). So of course I wanted to repay this company by using them to install shutters at my own house. I am happy to report that they are still doing the same high quality work and I heartily recommend them!

My house in now complete! I have plantation shutters on every window and a slider on my family room sliding door. The workmanship is top quality as well as the materials used to build the shutters. Excellent company to use. I have been using them for 15 years. Over this time I have had, in stages, all of the 16 windows in my house installed with perfect fit shutters. I recently had the last three windows covered. I posted the pictures. I never had one single issue with the shutters over the past 15 years. I compared Perfect Fit product to their competitor and hands down, a Perfect Fit holds up over time. Well worth the investment. My neighbor now wishes he used Perfect fit shutters instead of the other cheaper company. He did not want to wait several weeks so he chose the rushed company. How I wish we had discovered PerfectFit Custom Shutters before we had completed the window coverings with another company that is located in Beltway, MD. Such a difference in quoting and availability of products, also honesty in costs upfront. We ordered a 4" shutter and were very pleased with the product. Because they make their shutters locally the service was pretty fast. Installation holds them up a bit. An unexpected benefit was when two of the slats were broken by accident, it was easy to get replacements made and installed. If the products were being made in another country the repair most definitely would have taken much longer. I highly recommend PerfectFit and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I rarely give reviews unless I feel extremely strong about an experience . I am a perfectionist, probably to a fault, and extensively research vendors before I commit. I outfitted my entire home with plantation shutters . I had a bit of a challenge to work around existing millwork . Many companies suggested I have a carpenter shorten it . After someone I know well recommended Perfect Fit Shutters and I read countless good reviews online from several different sources , I had them come out for an estimate . Their estimate was definitely not the cheapest but not the most expenses either . Since this is something I plan on living with and enjoying for a while my primary goal was quality . The price was fair . They took the time to find a solution without disturbing existing millwork . It looks beautiful. The difference in the room is huge . The whole process was seamless and delightful starting with Mike , who came out to do an estimate , to a follow-up with the owner personally coming out to double check on the installation due to the concerns about millwork , and the follow up with the office for scheduling , finishing with the two installers , who were on time , friendly and meticulous. I can’t recommend Perfect Fit Shutters high enough . I choose 4 1/2 inch wooden , custom painted plantation shutters for all of the rooms .
